More Outlets For Small Wineries Could Be On The Way

Lift a glass and toast Washington Senate Bill 5426. If passed by the House of Representatives and signed by the Governor the measure would expand the number of tasting rooms small wineries can operate from two to four.

“We have many small wineries that are in need of this kind of support,” said bill sponsor Republican Judy Warnick of Moses Lake.

Any additional tasting rooms would still have to be approved by the Liquor and Cannabis Board but as Warnick says, “ this legislation allows small wineries to get their products to consumers in an innovative and practical way.”
