Calling it a walk and not a march hundreds of people gathered in Yakima today for the 31st annual Martin Luther King Jr. walk. One of the organizers Steve Mitchell says it's called a walk because it's a celebration of freedom and the impacts Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had on race relations in America. Walkers like Sandra Leon of Yakima say they're taking part in the walk to show unity hoping things only get better in the future "because right now things are looking a little dim when it comes to race relations." The walk ended at the Yakima Convention Center where a short list of speakers talked to the hundreds of people involved in the walk today.
