NEW YORK (AP) — Good news for sports fans who follow teams that don't play where they live. A lawsuit is set for this week — and no matter who prevails on the legal issue, fans will be the winner. Major League Baseball has already agreed to let consumers buy single-team TV packages for the first time. Usually fans would have to buy a package that provides access to all games — not just the team they want. A 2012 class-action suit brought by fans has forced both baseball and the National Hockey League to begin offering single team packages. No word on how much the packages will cost.
