Missing Sunnyside Man Found Dead

A Sunnyside man who had been reported missing on Sunday was found shot to death Monday in the 1 thousand block of Barnhart road near Highway 22. The Yakima County Sheriff's office says a car belonging to Jose Manuel Correa was burned Saturday night in the same area. Detectives are pursuing a variety of leads in the case and asking anyone with information on the homicide to call the sheriff's office at 574 2500 or crime stoppers at 1-800-248-9980.
