Just yesterday we were talking about how aware women were of their appearance and how Monday was their best day and Thursday the worst, etc. etc.  I was also saying how glad I was guys weren’t burdened with that - and then I find this from the Daily Mail.A new survey reveals men actually look in the mirror more often than women do!  C’mon guys, what’s goin’ on??  A U.K survey of 1,000 people about their grooming habits uncovered that men checked out their reflections 23 times a day, while women only did so 16 times a day.

Our British brothers say the top reasons men gave for checking themselves out in the mirror had to do with admiring their appearance, while women said they usually peeked in the mirror to make sure they looked ok.  So there is a difference.  Whew!

On average, men spent 10 minutes a day gazing at their reflections. (that seems ridiculous to me, but then I'm older and NOT British!)

Researchers say it is possible that the selfie trend is partially driving the rise in male vanity, as people become more used to celebrating their appearance.
