The number are build-the-wall-huge with 6 Billion expected to be wagered. 1.8 million plan to bet illegally (through a bookie, and this number does not include millions that will be bet through offshore, online sports books.)

So who is the so-called "smart-money" on? At this point, 52 percent said they will bet on the Rams, while 48 percent said they will bet on the Patriots.

How to bet on the Super Bowl

Totals (over/under): If picking a side isn’t necessarily your thing, you could always opt to bet on one of the game’s totals. The most common total to take would be the game’s over/under. The Super Bowl’s total is set at 56.5 as of Monday morning. If there are 57 or more combined points scored in the game, over bettors would win.
