For a brief period of time it seems like everyone in the media was talking about what’s her name ---er, uh..oh yah - Miley Cyrus. In fact there is a scale, the CDBI,  that measures the impact of celebrities when it comes to their appeal, aspiration, breakthrough, endorsement, influence, trend-setting, and trust.  A short two years ago back in December of 2010, our miss Cyrus ranked in the top 3% for influence and trend-setter as well as the top 23% for endorsement.

The former Hannah Montana was riding high. But then came the twisted and tragic decision to twerk out with Robin Thicke at the MTV video music awards and seriously blur the lines as to her maturity and judgement. Result--the bottom has fallen out of the CDBI.

As of August 2013, she's in the BOTTOM 1% for appeal, aspiration, breakthrough, endorsement and trust. And as far as influence and trend-setter goes, she's fallen to the bottom 20%.

For men and women over 55, only 1 percent report liking her a lot. In the 13-17 age group, 35 percent say they dislike her a lot. In the 18-24 age group, a whopping 43 percent dislike her a lot.
