The former Seahawks head coach will become a contributor and "NFL expert" for a Seattle sports radio station.

Holmgren, who took the Seahawks to their only Superbowl berth in 2006, is joining KJR-AM. He made the announcement Wednesday morning on the station.

Four years after leaving as Seahawks coach, Holmgren was out of a job after announcing his retirement in November from being president of the Cleveland Browns. Holmgren moved back to Seattle early this year, and said in February that he’d be surprised if he returned to the NFL in any official capacity.
