Memorial Hospital’s Friday Farmer Markets Emphasize Healthy Eating [VIDEO]

A new farmers market is open at Yakima's Memorial Hospital. Check it out.

This week is National Farmers Market week. In Washington, there are about 170 farmers markets spread across 36 of the state's 39 counties including the Yakima Farmers Market and the new Memorial Hospital Farmers Market.  Karen Kinney, head of the Washington State Farmers Market Association says it's the perfect time to visit a market because of the great variety of fresh food that's available.
The Memorial Hospital Farmers Market is held on Friday's from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Yakima Farmers Market downtown is held on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
