Memorial Improving Access to Hospital

Some changes are coming to the roads around Memorial Hospital in Yakima next week.

KNDO reports that the hospital will start construction to help ease traffic congestion on 30th Avenue and Tieton Drive Monday.

The project will add a left-hand turn lane on 30th and a traffic light on 28th Avenue.

Only one lane will be open on westbound side of Tieton Drive during construction and there will be crews directing traffic.

The hospital said construction will last about three weeks.
