Preparations are underway for the annual May Day march for immigration reform in Yakima. It's set for 5:30 p.m. Friday.  Hundreds of people are expected to participate in the march that starts at Miller Park on North Third Street. The march will happen throughout the downtown area and will move past the counter protest by Grassroots Yakima Valley. That group will hold a silent protest against amnesty at the corner of of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and North First Street. The march will end at Miller Park where the crowd will hear speeches from local leaders. Marchers say they want a legal path to citizenship.
