10 years in prison. That was the sentence handed down to 24-year-old Juan Ibanez-Cortez on Thursday one of the two men involved in the killing of 45-year-old Cynthia Kelley-Munzanreder in a Union Gap theater parking lot in February of 2013. Her husband 45-year-old John Munzanreder, who was convicted of first degree murder is expected to be sentenced later today in Yakima County Superior Court. 24-year-old Ibanez-Cortez testified in the trial against Muzanreder and was given a reduced sentence. Ibanez-Cortez was initially charged with first degree murder but the charge was reduced to second degree murder in a plea agreement.
