Man Stabs Ex-Girlfriend and Self

Yakima Police responded to a call at a house along North Naches Avenue Friday night where KNDO reports a man repeatedly stabbed his ex-girlfriend and then himself.

The victim is reported by KNDO to have a no-contact order against the 27-year-old man and although this happened, the neighbors do feel safe.

"It's not so bad that anybody's going to get pulled into it just by living nearby," said Sidney Bartlett.

KNDO reports that four young children were there, but not hurt and also the victim and suspect were taken to a local hospital with both expected to survive.
