Man Robs Eastside Store At Gunpoint

Yakima Police are investigating an armed robbery reported at the Gateway 76 convenience store at 18th Street and East Nob Hill at about 1:35 a.m.

Authorities say a man walked in the store pulled out a handgun and demanded cash from an employee. The suspect grabbed the money and ran out of the store. Police spent hours searching for the man but no arrest has been made. Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to call Yakima Police Department at 575 6200.
