Man Killed Tuesday Night Identified By Yakima Police No Arrests

Yakima Police have identified a man killed in a fatal shooting Tuesday night as 26-year-old Noel Moctezuma. Police spokesman Mike Bastinelli says Moctezuma was shot by a suspect as he opened the door to his apartment at 8 South 56th avenue at about 7:10 p.m. Tuesday. Bastenelli tells KIT News. "We don't believe it was random. They knew each other to what extent we don't know." He says detectives have some leads and hope to make an arrest soon. witnesses told police they saw a man and woman leave the area in a dark sedan after the shooting. Moctezuma's children were in the apartment at the time of the shooting but were not injured. The investigation continues Today.
