Man Dies In Fatal Shooting At Valley Mall Parking Lot

Union Gap Police are investigating a fatal shooting reported at about 9:45 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of the Valley Mall. Police say officers found a 21-year old-victim in the parking lot after being shot multiple times. The unidentified victim was taken to a Yakima hospital where he died. Witnesses told police the victim and another man were arguing when the man shot the victim and fled. Video surveillance captured the fleeing vehicle, which is described as a red or maroon colored minivan.
