The Yakima County Sheriff's office says an 18-year-old Outlook man was arrested Thursday and accused of fatally shooting a man who was last seen on a test drive. Detective Sgt. Mike Russel says the car belonging to 24-year-old Antonio Hernandez-Ledezma of Boardman, Oregon, was found Tuesday in an orchard in the Zillah area. He says good detective work lead deputies to arrest an 18-year-old man from Outlook for murder. Russel tells KIT News. "The suspect has a family member who was allegedly assaulted by our victim last year." So Russel says they believe the 18-year-old may have been attempting to take Hernandez-Ledezma to police but when he refused to go he was shot dead. He says an investigation led to the arrest, but the body has not been found. The 18-year-old suspect is being held on a murder charge in the Yakima County jail.
