The husband of a stabbing victim on Monday night has been arrested on a murder charge. Yakima Police spokesman Mike Bastinelli says officers were called to a home in 600 block of South 6th Avenue at about 7:15 p.m. Monday where they found 36-year-old Tisha Bryant suffering from a stab wound and they also found another victim, a 46-year-old man nearby also suffering from a stab wound. "She's going to recover but unfortunately the 46-year-old man died early this morning from injuries sustained in the stabbing."
Police arrested Bryant's 28-year-old husband and he's expected to be charged with murder. He's being held in the Yakima County jail Today.
His 36-year-old wife, Tisha Bryant remains hospitalized and is expected to survive. Bastinelli says they haven't yet determined what lead to the stabbing but drugs that were found at the home may have played a role. The investigation continues Today.
