Man Accused of Stealing Christmas Packages in Custody

Yakima Police have arrested a man suspected of stealing packages from the front porch of homes.  The 24 year old admitted that he was the man  caught on survielance camera.
Yakima Police are not sure how many thefts the man was responsible for. The suspect is currently in custody at the Yakima City Jail on $20,000 bail.  Yakima Police Detectives division will be conducting follow-up investigation.  Anyone with additional information about this incident is urged to contact the Yakima Police Department at (509) 575-6200.
