Major Water Main Break In Yakima

Yakima city crews are working to contain a major water main break at 16th Avenue and Englewood. Crews discovered the break at about 10:15 a.m. The area is now closed to traffic as they work to contain the break and prevent flooding.
The intersection is closed. Traffic is being diverted onto side streets. City crews say it could take hours to repair. The cause is under investigation.
