Love Your Moustache, Loan Me Some Cash – Dave’s Diary

I’ll admit it.  During the 70’s and 80’s I rocked the moustache.  I always thought they were cool.  Tom Selleck, Mark Spitz, Burt Reynolds. Pick your rock star or any biker with a Fu Manchu.  I miss the ‘stache

but it would be too grey today to stay.  Still, a study performed by Quicken and the American Mustache Institute says if you want to make more money grow a mustache.   The study reveals that your school career counselors were all wrong when they told you to show up for job interviews with a good, clean shave. Turns out men who sport mustaches are not only more likely to get hired at job interviews but they're also more likely to command bigger paychecks! How about 4.3% more than clean shaven guys and 8.2% more than bearded guys.

But making it isn’t the same as keeping it because the survey also shows men with mustaches spend 11% more and save 3% less than the combined average of bearded and clean shaven fellows. So my question to you is - Can YOU afford to rock the mustache?
