Looney Found Not Guilty In Premeditated Murder Case

A jury found Sebastian Looney not guilty on one count of premeditated murder Tuesday afternoon in Yakima County Superior Court. Looney was accused of killing Gary Snell and hiding the body under a porch in 2010; however, a judge declared a mistrial due to a previous robbery charge and two previous lesser murder charges. Looney says he shot Snell in self-defense. No word yet on whether prosecutors plan to re-try Looney.
