Job seekers from throughout the Yakima Valley are invited to participate in the 2012 Career Expo at Heritage University on Thursday, April 26, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Twenty-three employers will be on hand to share information about career opportunities at their companies. Among the participating businesses are: AFLAC, American West Bank, Ace Hardware, Central Washington Comprehensive Mental Health, the Department of Social and Health Services, Farmer’s Insurance, Key Bank, Kraft Foods, New York Life, Pepsi, the USDA, Valley Laboratories,  and the Yakama Nation.

The event will include several free workshops including information on job shadowing and résumé writing.

The event will be held in Smith Family Hall on the university’s campus located at 3240 Fort Road. Pre-registration is not required, but job seekers who would like their information shared with employers ahead of the event are welcome to register.
