Local Group Still Pushing for a Tournement Style Soccer Complex

There’s a group of soccer-loving, civic-minded residents who want to see a tournament-quality soccer complex built in Yakima. Despite the fact that years off efforts have not produced a complex, the group is not giving up. Today former Yakima City Councilman Larry Matson and one of the leaders of the effort will be on “The Mike Bastinelli Show.”

Also the Yakima Visitors Information Center along I-82 turns ten years old. Diane Smeasted the VIC director will be the show along with John Cooper, President and CEO of the Yakima Valley Visitors and Convention Bureau.

Listen today from 3 to 6 on AM 1280 and FM 99.3 Newstalk KIT.
