Local Burger Restraurant gets Flamed Broiled in Early Monday Morning Fire

Yakima Fire Department investigators continue searching for a cause to the fire that gutted the Majors Burgers restaurant at Third and Washington Avenues Monday. Someone driving by the restaurant spotted the smoke and called the fire department. When firefighters arrived they found the interior of the building full of smoke and flames.The blaze was doused and contained to the inside of the building. The other Majors Burgers restaurant near 16th and Lincoln is open today. Fire investigators say while they know the fire started in the kitchen there's no word on exactly what caused the blaze. No injuries were reported.
