Little Girl Struck In Private Driveway Dies At Yakima Hospital

Washington State Patrol troopers say a 3-year-old girl has died after she somehow got out of a vehicle she was in and was run over Tuesday night. The tragedy happened at about 8:00 p.m Troopers say 39-year-old Michael Emmans of Yakima was pulling into his driveway in the 700 block of North Pioneer way about 4 miles West of Yakima. As he was pulling in the driveway his 3-year-old daughter somehow jumped out of the Dodge Caravan and was run over. She died at a Yakima hospital. Troopers are saying if the girl was in a car seat. The investigation continues Today.
