Liquor Control is in Unchartered Waters Implementing I-502 + Human Trafficking in Yakima
Many questions remain as to how to implement I-502, the marijuana initiative passed by voters last week. The Washignton State Liquor Control Board will move forward to carry out the will of the voters, but it will take up to a full year to craft the necessary rules which will provide the framework for the new system. We will hear from a WSLCB spokesman today on what his agency is doing to get ready for the new law. Also...human sex trafficking is thriving in Yakima.
