Lincoln Day Dinner To Honor U.S. Troops

The 87th annual Lincoln Day Event, sponsored by the Yakima County Republican Central Committee, is Saturday, April 13th at the Clarion Hotel, 1507 N. 1st Street, in Yakima.  Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. with the dinner and program following at 6:30 p.m.  

The highlight of the evening is a musical tribute to the military called "Stars and Stripes Forever."  Vocalists for this special program are Jocelyn Nelson, Joyce Keller, Gayla Games, Debra Hardy, Jim Bruner and Sophia Tilley.  The accompanist is Christian Buehler.  The program will be narrated by Jim Keightley.  The evening will be a celebration of all military men and women, and veterans in attendance will be recognized for their service during the program.

Tickets for this event are $60 each.  You must RSVP to attend by calling Norma Joiner at 509-930-4018.  Tickets will be available up to the time of the event as space permits.  Tickets will be available at the door for $70 each if seating is still available.
