Liberty Bottle Works in Union Gap is celebrating the receipt of major awards for it's manufacturing processes. Co-owner Ryan Clark says the company was recently awarded the National Most Valuable Pollution Prevention Award and an outstanding employer for People with Disabilities Award.

Clark says the awards reflect the ongoing philosophy of the company to be good to both people and the environment.  "We're being lumped in with companies like Toyota, and GE, and companies that are leading the charge in environmental sustainability.

Clark also says the company is now preparing to open it's first retail store since it started manufacturing the American made Liberty bottles in 2010. Clark says the new store located at the factory at 2900 Sutherland Drive is expected to be open at the end of the month
