Let’s Play Ball Again in Yakima – Today on the Mike Bastinelli Show

The Northwest League Yakima Bears are long gone, set to begin play this summer as the Hillsboro Hops in Hillsboro, Oregon.  Fortunately Yakima will not be without a baseball team for long. This week the West Coast League announced it will put a team in Yakima starting next summer. It's a collegiate wood bat league with teams in Washington, Oregon and British Columbia.  Pacific Baseball Ventures LLC, which owns the Walla Walla Sweets, will own the soon-to-be- named Yakima team.
