Do you cook for yourself? You're the only person at the dinner table?
Virginia Mason Memorial’s Cooking for One class teaches how to cook healthy and delicious meals in smaller portions. Those in the class will participate with others who share similar desires of wanting to learn how to cook for one.
The class includes demonstrations and hands-on cooking for meal preparation. Participants will also receive a copy of “A Meal for Me: Simple Strategies for Cooking for One.”
There are four upcoming Cooking for One classes to choose from: Feb. 22, March 15, April 19 and June 21. Classes will run from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Harman Center, 101 N. 65th Ave.
Space is limited. The fee is $10 and covers the cost of food and the cookbook.
