In a recent press release issued by Krispy Kreme, they have plans on expanding to new stores including Yakima County.

As stated in their official press release, they have a development agreement of three new Krispy Kreme Doughnut shops in Benton, Franklin and Yakima Counties over the next three years. Benton and Frankin counties cover the Tri-Cities so it's great news for them, too.

You'll also notice it says Yakima County so it could mean any city in the area. It could be Yakima or Sunnyside or any other surrounding town.

The closest one we have to Yakima is in Issaquah. This isn't counting the numerous fund raisers we see here in Yakima where they are selling Krispy Kremes.

The plan is to build an actual, honest-to-goodness, store with fresh-of-the-belt doughnuts and the coffees they have as well. It'll be a good thing for the Yakima County.
