Kennewick Murder Suspect Arrested Friday by Spokane Police

According to KNDO, 41-year-old Grant Wayne Scantling was arrested around 6 pm in North Spokane and is now in custody after leading Eastern Washington law enforcement on a manhunt all afternoon. 

Spokane Police Major Crimes Detectives received leads and information that Scantling was at a house on E. Lacrosse Ave. in Spokane and placed that home under surveillance. The detectives learned of Scantling present at another home in N. Spokane, quickly responded and apprehended him just before 6 pm.

Scantling will be transported to be booked into the Benton County Jail for first degree murder of a victim whose name has not been released yet.
