K-Mart Closing Sign Removed From Building

The blue light specials are no more in Yakima after the K-Mart Store logo was taken off the building this morning. Last month store officials announced a closure and a liquidation sale at the store on East Nob Hill Blvd. off of Highway 24. Other K-Mart stores are also closing in other areas around the country.
The Yakima store was open for decades but other big box stores forced its closure.
