Judge to Decide if Murder Suspect Should Pay for Attorney’s Fees

Should John Munzanreder pay for his own attorney or should taxpayers foot the bill? That was the question in front of a judge Thursday during a hearing in Yakima County Superior Court.

Munzanreder is being held in connection with the shooting death of his wife Cynthia in the parking lot of a Union Gap theater earlier this month. Prosecutors say Munzanreder has assets and should be forced to pay for his own attorney fees. A judge will make a decision in the case within the next month.
