Judge Denied Union Gap Murder Suspect Request for Lower Bail
A judge denied the request to reduce bail for the man accused of helping murder Cynthia Kelly-Munzanreder outside a Union Gap theater.
The attorney for Juan Ibanez Cortes asked the court Thursday to reduce bail from $2 million to $200,000. Prosecutors argued Cortes is a danger to the community.
Cortes also has an immigration hold.
John Munzanreder is also held on $2 million bail. He faces 1st degree murder charges.
