Norm Johnson has announced that he will run for a fourth term in the Washington State House of Representatives. The Republican from Yakima serves on five House committees including Transportation.

In a news release issued today Johnson said:

“I am working hard with Sen. King to secure an overpass in Bingen and eventually an additional main entry into Yakima. I enjoy representing the people of our newly configured 14th District.  It is truly an honor to serve the people of the 14th District.”

Johnson is the ranking Republican member of the Community Development, Housing and Tribal Affairs Committee. He says his priorities continue to be “public safety, education of our youth and taking care of the most vulnerable.”
