JERKS AT WORK MAKE MORE MONEY:     SO when it comes to work, if you go along to get along, chances are what you get will be less that what you might have gotten.  Jerks seen to have bad office behavior rewarded! Researchers [who analyzed several surveys spanning 20 years] examined "agreeableness" using self-reported survey data and found that men who measured below average on agreeableness earned about 18% more-or $9,772 more annually in their sample-than nicer guys. Ruder women, meanwhile, earned about 5% or $1,828 more than their agreeable counterparts. (Wall Street Journal)
