It’s Time To Cool Off At Franklin Pool This Summer

Time for a swim. Yakima's Franklin Pool opens next week for the summer months. The pool opens on Thursday at 12:30 p.m.
The pool will be open seven days a week from June 14 through August 25.
Franklin Pool will offer recreational swim sessions Monday through Friday from 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  On Saturdays and Sundays, one recreational swimming session will be offered from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
Admission costs $2.00 for youth (under 18 years old), $3.75 for adults, and $2.25 for 62 or older. From June 14 through August 26, paying to swim in one of Yakima’s two City-owned pools entitles the purchaser to a special Yakima Transit bus pass.  Bus service will be provided from Kissel Park every Thursday beginning at 12:30 pm and head to Franklin Pool. The bus will pick up passengers along Mead Avenue and 32nd Avenue eastbound.
