Forbes Magazine lists Twitter as one of the most active sites in the world.  The social network hosts more than 284 million active users coupled with over 500 million visitors who access Twitter-owned properties but do not log-in.

Twitter managers estimate a monetization potential of about $11.4 billion. So they are a pretty big deal.  I’m not a twit (careful) or whatever you call a regular frequent user but I know who is. In fact we have the list of the top 20 most followed folks.  Now you do too.  (Controversy Alert: For the record, there are those who say as many as half of Ms Perry's followers are not real humans.)
