Yakima residents are getting calls from people saying they're IRS agents threatening people that they need to pay an IRS tax bill or they face arrest. Yakima Police Department spokesman Mike Bastinelli says it's a scam. "We tell people the IRS doesn't operate that way. If you do get a call like that hang up. Because the IRS usually sends people letters if they owe back taxes and they won't threaten arrest by a local police department." Bastinelli says if you do get the call and you're concerned contact the IRS or the Yakima Police Department.
