OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — Gov. Jay Inslee and Governor Ha Jin Song of the Jeollabuk-do province in South Korea placed a ceremonial wreath at the Korean War Memorial as part of a daylong event to mark the 20-year anniversary of the sister-state agreement between the province and Washington state.

Song was part of several events at the Capitol Wednesday that included the planting of a tree near the state Supreme Court building, signing of a friendship agreement and a traditional Korean musical presentation in the Capitol rotunda.

Inslee visited Jeollabuk-do last August 2015 as part of a trade mission to Asia.
