Democratic Congressman Jay Inslee says the state needs a governor who's lived outside the shadow of the Space Needle-- referring to his time representing Yakima’s 14th legislative district and Central Washington’s 4th  congressional district.

Inslee claims to know the needs of Eastern Washington…but conservative voters in Eastern Washington know full well Inslee’s liberal stand on virtually all issues.

He may seek to run as an “outsider” on job creation, health care, technological innovation and education – but he comes into the race in lock step with the less than successful Obama approach to those very same issues.

Inslee supports the DREAM Act, which would provide the children of illegal immigrants a path to citizenship and he says  creating good paying jobs requires public schools to produce qualified workers.

Reforming education is a cornerstone of his opponent’s platform, attorney General McKenna.
