Fresh off the "Save-a-Life Blitz," Yakima Memorial is also offering up a CPR event for parents and caregivers of infants.

Saturday, Feb. 27 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00, the specialized practice of CPR for infants will be taught at the Memorial Education Center at 2506 W. Nob Hill Ave. There is a $5 cost for the event, but the opportunity to learn what to do in an emergency with an infant could be priceless.

There is no registration needed, but the class will no certify anyone on infant CPR. The hospital does stress that even knowing some basics in an emergency could be the difference between life and death.

Anyone who is interested in more information can visit the Yakima Memorial website, or give them a call at 248-7322.
