I-90 Closed Both Directions Until Late Wednesday Because Crash And Fire

State Department of Transportation officials say I-90 is closed in both directions because a fatal collision East of Cle Elum involving a tanker truck and a car that caught fire. Traffic is stopped westbound at Ellensburg, milepost 106 and eastbound at exit 84. WSP, Fire and WSDOT are on the scene. Both the EB and WB Indian John Rest Areas and nearby residences are being evacuated at this time. Detours are SR-10 SR-970 and US-97. Estimated to reopen is 5 p.m.
