The annual Point In Time survey is underway in the Yakima Valley this morning. Volunteers are counting homeless people living on the street and in local shelters. The numbers are used to gain State and Federal dollars to help homeless and fund programs for the poor. Two service fairs are being held in Yakima and Sunnyside where a variety of services are being offered including haircuts and a hot meal. The service fair in Yakima is being held at the Morning Star Church. In Sunnyside the service fair is being held at St. Joseph's Church.
