Home Show To Feature Gator Wrestling

Alligator wrestling will be the entertainment this weekend at the Central Washington Home Show in the Sundome. Jimmy Riffle of the Gator Boys on Animal Planet will talk about his job of rescuing gators in Florida and he'll demonstrate how he wrestles or catches them. He says it's been a lifelong passion. "They grabbed my attention when I was young. I started wrestling alligators when I was 11. It just turned into a lifestyle and a passion for all of us." Riffle says most of the alligators he rescues in Florida are donated to zoos and rescue organizations. He's traveled from Florida with a variety of alligators including a 10 foot gator he'll use to demonstrate alligator wrestling. 2 shows a day are planned. The home show opens in the Yakima Valley Sundome at noon Friday.
