Holi Festival In India: Meet My Daughter the Adventurer — Dave’s Diary

She's bolder than I ever was, I'll give her that.  My middle daughter Dacotah is on another one of her adventures -- she's the one on the right with the purple scarf.

This one includes her two best girlfriends and a trip halfway around the world for the Holi Festival, which could be as old as the 4th century. Given the nature of activities you could call it original "color run," oh, and snakes -- cobras and snake charmers. How charming?

Dad is a little nervous, yet very excited for a child who has demonstrated she intends to drink up as much of life as she can. Heck, I get nervous watching National Geographic!
