Highway 410 remains closed near Bumping River Road as a result of a large mudslide on Friday. The slide covered 60 feet of highway.

Department of Transportation (D.O.T) crews assessed the damage over the weekend and are working to clear the slide area. Officials expect a long-term closure because of the amount of mud and rocks that slid onto the road.

This is much smaller than the slide that hit the highway in 2009.
