Hey Seattle, Don’t Come Crawling To Us For Sunshine With an Attitude Like This!

We took a vote and it was unanimous. Jake Ellison, writer for the SeatlePI.com, can go jump in a lake, or maybe the Puget Sound. He apparently had an assignment to cover a GOP retreat recently and he took offense to some the anti-liberal Seattle sentiments expressed. His response, unbiased reporter that he is (supposed to be) was to post an article called “10 reasons Seattle-bashing Republicans can go screw themselves”.
We invite you check it out and then keep it in mind when they come crawling east for some sunshine or a glass of wine! Here are a couple of Flakey Jake’s conclusions

1. The roads in their districts are all paved with Seattle's socialist taxes dumped by the truckload into state coffers. *** Hey, we are all one big happy road riding happy family and congratulations on how well you have managed the traffic and congestion on your side!

2. Whatever they pluck, knit, weld or dig up is either sold in Seattle or goes through Seattle. ***One snob’s “pluck” is another man’s “harvest”.

3.Whenever someone in a eastern district wants to have any recreation that doesn’t include being bored to death, they come to Seattle and Puget Sound
Region ***Hiking, hunting, fishing, sunshine, the Gorge, wine tasting, u-pick fresh fruit, river floating, sunshine, downtown summer nights, beer fests, Sunshine…I could go on

4.Seattle’s green attitude and political strength are the only reason the entire state isn’t polluted to death, clear cut, strip mined or drilled so much it looks
like Swiss cheese.***Yo Jake, we do Cougar Gold Cheddar but thanks. Time to check yourself – and then the FACTS. Farmers are great stewards of the land
they depend on for their livelihood. Nobody cares more about the environment and its inhabitants than the hunters and fishermen who pour millions of their own dollars to preserve and maintain their passionate pursuit. It was your misguided goodness that saved the owl and killed an industry only to serve the bird to a fellow species….
